Joshua
Moses’ successor who led Israel into the promised land, famous for the call to ‘be strong and courageous.’
Joshua was Moses’ assistant and one of two faithful spies. After Moses died, God commissioned him to lead Israel across the Jordan into Canaan.
Through faith—seen at the fall of Jericho—Israel took the land. Joshua charged the people, ‘As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.’
