Grace
God’s unmerited favor—his free gift of salvation and kindness that we cannot earn.
Grace is at the heart of the gospel: God gives salvation as a gift, ‘not by works, so that no one can boast.’ It flows from his love, not our merit.
Grace also empowers the Christian life, training us to live for God. We are saved by grace and grow by grace.
