Canaan
The land God promised to Abraham’s descendants—the ‘promised land’ Israel entered under Joshua.
God promised Canaan to Abraham and his offspring. After the exodus and wilderness years, Israel crossed the Jordan to take possession of it.
Often called ‘a land flowing with milk and honey,’ it was the stage for much of Israel’s history.
